First I am a novice to this and was my first experience installing a chimney liner, due to the cost of estimates I needed to give it first try myself. Fireside helped me along the entire way at every point. My chimney is 40 feet from wood burner to top, so not the typical job. The pulling cone was the saving tool. I highly recommended this item, just pay for it, don’t think you can save the $50 elsewhere. I am very thrifty when it comes to do it yourself jobs, and this cone save me hundreds of dollars, both with man lift hours, time of installation, labor used, and stress. Just get the cone, 40ft is a long long way and due to the length I had to reverse the job and insert the liner from the top and pull down from bottom, slight offset bend in firebox required this, without the pulling cone job would have failed, gravity alone was not enough. I was working with a double chimney stack with secondary firebox in basement. End result, job done, all is good, and house is warm. Thanks Much, Ed
